Damai Laut > cost of whole trip
Salty dinner @ 1 of Kuala Selangor's seafood restaurant = RM18 (each person)
Steamboat dinner @ Damai Laut = RM10
Transport & tol = RM13
* if take [UC]'s Merc, transport would be RM20.
[S]: Not bad wohh, RM20 with driver & such good care (unlike [KW])
Total = RM41 only!
Of course, v should thank [F & male J] for the free accomodation, which they paid monthly..

Damai Laut > eerie journey back
After eating so much, v still couldn't finish the salty food. By the time v left the restaurant, it was almost 11pm..
On the way back, [UC]'s car follow [KW]'s. Who took us to God knows where. V passed by several banana & kelapa sawit plantations.
K: U know, ppl say don't look at the banana & kelapa sawit trees at nite.
I looked out the window at the banana trees on my left. There r some cloth tied to the trees. Turn to my right, kelapa sawit trees...
It's psychology reaction tat when ppl say "Don't do [tat]", ppl would do exactly [tat].
[T] told us the story of the banana tree.
T: This guy, he was old, like 30 sth & still had no gf (sounds familiar?). SO 1 day, he confessed to his fren about it. His fren told him to tie a red string from a banana tree to his house door. At nite, 12pm, a beautiful woman would come for u.
This guy asked: Sure boh?
Best fren: Yes, must believe to try it!
So, this guy went home & did as told. He waited by the door with the clock ticking. He dressed himself with the best clothes he had. He waited... At 12.05am, he pushed the clock away. "Ceh, fooled me!"
He got up for a drink.
There was a knock. He stopped drinking, beer hanging up 1/2 way to his mouth.
Knock again.
His heart stopped. Could it be...?
He ran to the front & breathed in deeply. He opened the door. There stood a very beautiful woman with long shiny hair, porcelain skin, big glittering eyes, dainty nose & red full lips, ahh.. and a killer body in white sheer dress. Too bad there was no moon tat nite! He squinted at her.
He couldn't believe his good luck. He slammed the door in her face.
He leaned back against the door & breathed frantically. Soo beautiful, how to match her beauty?!
He opened the door again & saw the woman grinned, then slowly her skin melted! Yuck!
He slammed the door close again!
He opened them again.

So relieved when v reached home :D

Padi field... on the way back home in the late afternoonIt's a pretty deserted road, not many cars passing by
[male J] fumed, I had taken his seat. He put his hands on my neck in an attempt to strangle me. I pulled 1 of his fingers 90 degrees backwards! Ha! He could sit with the lovebirds for a taste!
Again, [KW & male J] insisted on eating Kuala Selangor's best seafood. They had been there once - ages ago & couldn't remember even tho their frens had told them! Duh! & being stubborn head, they circled the big area for almost 1 hr. Due to the traffic jam & road fixing, v just sang Linkin Park.
I wished v'd just eaten any seafood / restaurant, anywhere. [K & T] felt the same too. Waste of time. It was dark @ nite already hoiyo, not daytime! By the time dinner was over, v'd reach Kepong at midnite!
[J] kept saying: This is the right route. This is the correct route already.
Bah!
V saw the bright lights at the end of the road. Again. Looks so familiar, like yesterday :)
It was... A. Dead. End. Arrrh! :D Hahahaa! Karma unresolved? Did v learn anything from last nite? Nooooooo. The lights were at the other side... surely our Best Seafood Restaurant in a very small street was there?
V passed by a house hving bbq with lanterns, lots of kids playing. So merry :) & beautiful lights.
Also got into a really tight lane. V guessed tat was it! Lots of bright lights! :D
It lead to temples.
V saw an old aunty, a grandma probably. I unwind the window & looked at her. Then some1 said sth like she probably doesn't know & I asked back, I think it was [KW]: SO want to ask or not?
I turned back to the grandma: Aunty!
She grabbed her bicycle & quickly ran away. Yo, I didn't look like a criminal..
V U-turned back & asked another aunt, ok, sister coz she's probably only about 10 yrs older than us ;) She said: Follow the car in front & turn left.
OOoo.. v finally found it! 2 seafood restaurants by the waterside. Bright neon signboards. Not full house... [M] announced: Ooo I had been to this restaurant b4. 5 yrs ago! But I didn't know how to come here lar. Hehe.
The football fans wanted to watch tv, so v went in the larger restaurant. They had set menu with different prices. V got the RM180 set for all.
Saw the table behind us had coconut drinks! Coconuts! :D [M] & I wanted to share a coconut. [F] ordered for us... but she had mistaken tat v'd had 1 each. Probably coz she assumed she would share with [M].
The food. Wow. Fried egg with sotong, fried prawn + sauce, err dark, salty crab, vege, fried fish, jellies.. V had nvr had such salty dishes b4. All of them! All the waitresses looked underage. V did tell the waitress tat the 1st dish was very salty.
[S & T] wanted to complain.
Who is their manager ar?!
The waitress (in uniform) also looked like under-age. No need schooling?
But nowadays 15yo also can work already. Part time marr..
Why all salty? Never tested food is it?
Foreign worker cook 1 is it?
Hhaa.. afterwards call the cook out also, also 2ndary school kid! Hahaha!

At 1 of the petrol station, some of us got down to buy drink & snack.
[KW] paid for water, I stood behind him. I bought a 100 plus, very thirsty!
When I opened the door out, [female J & S] said from [UC]'s car window: Get in. They already left.
I: No way ar! They r still here.
I looked at the space in front of their car. No car. Huh.
I stepped out further. Really gone!
The original car tat I was in, the 1 tat left me.
Remember this model & car plate!
If u ever date the driver, well, good luck.
I hope he treats his gf/wife differently from how he treated me.
Got in [UC]'s car. Lucky they hadn't left & they saw how negligent the other ppl r!!! So bad!!!

All the backseaters in the original car [T & K] did was flirting. I tried to sleep, at least feign sleeping. Front 2 guys were talking/quiet among themselves.
Then [K] discovered a msg from [T]'s Brunei steward, whom she had kissed last time. & she confessed to [K] tat she did kiss him. [K] got serious & said: U are also a player. DOn't complain last time about me playing others also!
T: But I didn't sleep around!
... so then, [K] checked every msg in her hp.
& asked: Who is this?
After the grueling session ended, [T] took his hp & asked: So, who is this?!
At the next stop, I sprayed water on [T]. She exclaimed: Wasn't me ar! I asked them where u were when the car moved!
Probably after awhile b4 any1 noticed..

& [KW] didn't even apologize when he saw me. I shouted: Left me! Never check 1 ar?!
Then only he apologized. Sounded just out from his mouth. Not sincere at all!
I'll tell their future fiances b4 they get married: U think carefully woooh.. they last time left me at petrol station without looking back!

Actually I wasn't angry. More upset. But not much. Coz I don't place them high on my list anyway but still, it was a feeling & event I hope no1 encounters when travelling with 'frens'.

With leftover vege & food from yest, v cooked up mee .. ummm, it was delicious. V'd hv less hair by the time v reach KL, esp [S] & I who always eat maggie mee at home too.

At the beach, v finally saw how 'clean' the sand & water were. There were some rubbish but not as dirty as PD 2 yrs ago. The water was grayish-green colour. Ulk.
[F]: Why don't want to jump into water?
I: Eee..water is soo dirty!
[F] bent her foot: No ak! C? I dipped my foot in, not itchy also.
Huh huh, if itchy so fast, that means the water is already damn polluted & poisoned!
There was some sort of a rope hanging from the tree, like a hangman's noose but it's longer to fit a kid's height. & [S]'s height :p [T] climbed on it like a m0nkey & had a great time being Jane.
She brought the feather metal ball - those played by Malay villagers, it was tough to 'accept' the thing to pass at 1st hehe. The most # of passing was around 7 only..

After a while, the pregnant [M] & [S] went to rest on the chairs facing the beach. I followed & it was cool.. then the wind blew strongly, it bcame so cold!
[K] bought 1 colourful kite to play but the wind wasn't continuous, it was tough to get it fly up in d sky... When the loverbirds dropped tat to play hopping, theother lovebirds [male J & KW] tried to fly the kite but it was so funny.
Jump, jump. Lovers' game there. 2 spotlights
The rest of us, sat on the chair & watched the show ;) Kekekek
Relaxing @ the beach...
Then, the remaining lovebirds had their hands on the kite. [female J] was pulling the string when it suddenly got stuck between the branches & those who had played tried to get it down. [female J] naughtily blamed it on her bf, [UC] but [UC] was being the sport, he played along with it & wasn't angry. Tat's wat love is... aha. [K] even threw the feather ball up & the feather came out. [T] screamed jokingly: Hey!!! Very $ 1 arrr! RM10 arrh!
The colourful kite brought by [K] was stuck in the tree...
[K] attached the feather to the metal again & threw it up many times. Somehow, it came out of the branches & [female J] breathed wif relief...
After v got the kite down, v went to the poolside. I applied sunscreen & suntan lotion generously. Some of them went to the other side's beach to play futsal. The pool wasn't deep, I could stand & the water reached my shoulder-neck only :)
nice... the breeze was blowing..
The sun was bright but it didn't feel like stinging when v were in Bali or Tioman. :) [male J] advised: U no need suntan lar, cannot get dark 1.
So hungry... but v had to wait for the lovebirds [T & K] swimming. [K] is amazing. He smokes once he wakes up, every free moment tat he has, during tea, lunch, breakfast, dinner, brunch, while watching tv, walking.. even at the poolside! Seriously, I think his lung is as dark as his dark skin.

Damai Laut > morning breakfast
Ppl in our room woke up early feeling hungry!
The view from our room
V knocked on downstairs - every1 was sleeping, [female J] opened the door drowsily.
Heh?! [male J] who had announced loudly repeatedly last nite: I don't care, I'm going to sleep on bed!
V found him [male J] slumped on the sofa instead! [KW] was sprawled on the bed. Wat ahh had these 2 ma latt lou done?!
V took out sandwiches, which [S] had applied butter & since they were in the fridge overnite, they were frozen. It took longer to toast them. The coleslaw was nice too :)
[K] started throwing leftover breads to the m0nkeys outside & made "ek ek! Hi hi har har har hee!" More m0nkeys came & even some babies :) Cute! [M] peeled off the banana skin, I tot it was for the m0nkeys. She put the banana to her mouth & passed the banana skin to [K]! The m0nkeys grabbed the banana skin & bit it, then shared among themselves, then just glared back up at him. They r not stupid!

I just couldn't zzz peacefully. Too cold. Too hard. Sth was around. Felt like a young woman, in her twenties.. Damn! I wasn't quivering but it was irritating tat I couldn't zzz! I got out of the hard bed several times. To adjust the fan, off it accidentally - which was great! :D I couldn't c much in the dark. I flipped 1 of my sandals for safety against evil spirits. I'd zzz better.
Didn't know when, there was a sound from hp.
& I had a dream of [S] stroking my neck area and asked: How many bfs u've had already?
As if I were a playgirl! Huh!
Tat dream was so weird. Then I tot it could b that woman using [S]'s face in my dream. Uh...

The delicate issue when going in holidays with couples & singles r: Who sleeps with who, in which room?
V had 2 couples: [female J & UC] & [T & K].
Altho the 'traditional' rule is females 1 room, males 1 room .. when u hv couples, they just want to spend te nite in each other's arms in the same piece of furniture.
[S] decided for the single females tat v'd sleep on the 2nd floor coz it was cleaner for the pregnant lady, [M]. Actually [M] was already sleeping on the Ground floor's bed. [S] & I walked up to 2nd floor, [T & K] were there. V knocked many times, called out - no respond. I knocked on the bathroom window as v were leaving. Then, [S] heard some1 called out while v were walking down the stairs.

Sure, it's normal for couples to take max opportunities to make out / hv sex, esp 1 tat is hiding the relationship. But I didn't feel bad interrupting their sex lives then, coz I wanted to rest. After all, v had already decided to leave them alone & got down. [T] probably didn't want us to think tat they were doing extra curricular activities. FGS!
Since [M] is pregnant, [S] & I took the wood bed. Oohh... hard, hard, hard! Lucky I brought along the Ikea blue wool cloth as blanket. The air-cond was cold tooo.. I really had a hard time zzz. Somehow, sth wasn't right.

Our steamboat had 2 flavours - bou soup which has kei ji (wolfberries) & hung jou (red bates); the other was spicy tomyam :p yummm..
At 1st the kei ji soup didn't hv much sweet taste, the spicy was really tasty :D [J & S] bought lots of food, prawn & crab meat sticks, eggs, wong nga bak choy, some green leaves, corns, fish ... the chicken was stale tho, smelly. Sooooooo full after eating!
V lazed around a bit, some watching the EPL (English Premiere League).. but some of us wanted to drive over to the beach/hotel while others wanted to burn off the Kalories. [S] brought last yr's Japanese lanterns & v walked all the way there :D The whole place only had us, except 1 or 2 random cars & bikes passing by.
My lantern's light was dim. Probably coz the paper was in pink, not bright yellow. The pattern was nice tho :)

According to the website, it would take 5 minutes walk from Apartment to Hotel. Haha haha! It took us about 1/2 hr walking (leisurely) in the only road!
[M] alternate between carrying the lantern & passing it to her 'maid' [F] & moaning, "Aiyo.. so far.."
V saw a signboard "The View". V could c patches of black, some grays in between. Mayb very dark navy too.. probably hills.
V discovered: [male J]'s into S&M.
He burnt the pack of candles in 1 go in his hand.
When the melted candle dripped onto his hand,
he exclaimed, "Wah, painful! Wahh..so syiok!"

When v reached the hotel, v went to the swimming pool side. Maintenance Ooo :( Hope they would open it d next day...
Then v walked over to the garden to the beach. At the small gate of the stairs to the beach, it was locked with a sign "Closed." Yo.. if it were "Enter at own risk", v'd gone thru the locked gate haha!

So, v walked around tat area & found a way to the beach! :) Eyea! There were white things floating in the water. Probably rubbish. Yuck. The sand felt coarse! But not to the point of hurting our feet..
Some1 found 2 tyres & sat on it, bouncing up & down. [M]'s baby probably felt like he was in some kind of bouncing jelly then.

When v got near the swimming pool, some1 discovered the ice cream. The seller complimented [T]: Orang Jepun kar?
[T] smiled happily: Bukan lar. Semua org Malaysia.
Seller: Ya kar! Mata cantik & besar?! Yg lain semua mata sepet, keciiiik!
?! [M & S]'s eyes r quite big.
V've walked so long & far from Apartment to Hotel tat v didn't want to walk back there... requested for driver but v had to wait coz the driver had gone out for supper. It was 11pm sth.
While waiting for our van, v sat at this spacious lobby, but not enuff chair for all of us.
[F] was checking sms feverishly. [male J] asked her for the EPL score.
No fan on altho the fan was above us. Very hot. Requested the hotel staff to on the fan & he obliged :)
When the driver drove us back to the Apartment, he drove like maniac. He hit a cat passing by, the van jerked to 1 side & they saw the poor cat hopping to the side. Poor thing! V'd look for it d next day..

V got lost several times. Those men! Didn't know the direction but didn't want to ask. But then, by the time v got lost too deep, v couldn't find any1 around available to ask! It felt like rounding-up-the-hill like in Cameron & Genting Highlands without street lights! Some places felt like small street villages like in Bali... Scary coz it was dark & v couldn't find the apartment or even the signboard of Swiss Garden.
At 1 point, they were so confident tat they had found the place! Yahoo! V saw the bright lights at the end of the road. Dead end. It was a jetty. There was water, not sure if it's lake or river between us & the lights. Arrhh, so near, yet so far! There was a group of Malay family & they told us to go back out & take the other turn... Weird tat they were there, sitting on the road together as the jetty was closed. Mayb they hv private boat..

This time, I brought very few items. It's quite inconvenient to pack when 1 is only staying overnite for 1 nite.
Facial cleanser, eye solutions, shampoo - found a small sample pack from Sunsilk which I didn't know was collecting dust & water in bathroom hehe, swimming stuff... didn't bring pillow over this time. Wanted 2 c if I could sleep in foreign places without it. I brought a blue cami & black shorts only. Underwear included of course :p
So, I had to rewear the clothes on the 2nd day.. Tat [J] who always complained about my physical appearance from specs to hair to clothes to the colours & materials (Get a life! It's not as if he's in the quality dept for fashion, duh!)

I didn't really 1 2 go 4 this trip... reasons I don't want to write here... Anyway, in the end, I joined in. [J & F] shared the membership payment @ all Swiss Garden & v get free accomodation for 3 days, 2 nites conseq. but v would b staying 2 days, 1 nite only. Wasted 1 nite!
V departed from my house at around 3.30pm coz some of us works 1/2 day on Sat. It was a normal temp day :)
As usual, [T] wasn't ready fully. But this time, v waited for less than 15 minutes only, which was a record! :)
Her ahem fren was waiting in his car, parked nearby.. After some mayhem @ her office where her strict & traditional father discovered she was sitting on his lap AOH (After Office Hrs), they both received a major verbal lashing.
So v headed to Damai Laut - without any map! Whoa of the organizers & drivers! Tot they were so clever! [male J] exclaimed: I tot [F] got print out mar!
Mostly while in the car, [T & K] flirted, laughed, coyed with themselves. I was like the wallpaper. Boring. In fact, it was annoying to hear [T]'s loud voice, giggling everytime K put on his imitation voice. So mostly I listened to the music, which was sad love songs, selected by [male J]. Doi! [T] repeatedly told him to change to "more popular Chinese & Japanese songs".. to which he sometimes obeyed. Often not. Both r bulls.
I finally asked [male J] to change to happier, holiday songs & after awhile only he reluctantly changed CD. I know he's broken hearted, but puh-lease!
In [KW]'s car, there was [KW himself, male J, T, K & myself] coming from KL's side. The other car had [M, F, S, UC, female J] from Selangor's (Sel) side.
As the Sel's side was departing later than us & didn't know the way to Lumut/the apartment, v had to wait 4 them somewhere in arr... where already ar?
3 of us ate wan tan mee with char siew & soup - which cost us almost RM5. Don't remember if it included the drinks. But it was $! Like KL. V saw 1 shop selling Garlic er.. Garlic sth, like pao, but it wasn't pao. Looked delicious. K bought 1 to share... smelled Garlic-ey but tasted a bit of Garlic only. *Blew out breath into palm & breathed in deeply* Didn't smell any garlic or bad breath.
KW said the street/shop is famous for those biscuits. V saw the $ was almost same as in KL. But the coffee packs were much more expensive by RM2-5!
I bought kai jai biscuit (chicken son - direct translation from Cantonese), also known as chick flavoured thin biscuit from Tai Chong Biscuits & Confectionery.

At Kedai Biscuit Hock Bee Tin, some of us bought kacang tumbok (crushed peanut candy)

Sinful sugar food, these :p for home.
The Sel's side departed about 1/2 - 1 hr later than us but they caught up with us @ highway.

The Bayview voucher must hv felt it was useless. I bought it, haze came to KL/Sel & it was the best time to go to Penang but no transport! Then, the haze went up North to Penang following the wind direction.. & then, bam! Expired on Merdeka Day!
Actually I felt it was very wasted of me to buy RM100 for the voucher & nobody used it... Won't buy such thing again unless I hv my own car ;)
